Bahamas Spring 2008 - Page 02

Nippers is certainly a colorful place. Besides a bar and restaurant there is also a swimming pool.

Just for fun I took a picture of the logo of the Man-O-War Fire & Rescue, Abaco, Bahamas.

We discovered a nice tall ship at anchor when leaving Man-O War. We did not get the name.

This is the dinghy dock at Hope Town, Elbow Cay, Bahamas.

I just had to take a few pictures of the school at Hope Town.

Now you get to see the Bahamas National Flower, Yellow Elder.

The Yellow Elder is really a nice yellow flower. Just click on the picture to get a close up view. Click again to look closer. Then use the back button to bring this page back.

This is the Hope Town Volunteer Fire and Rescue logo. The building had recently been painted and had some recent repairs. It looked very nice.

This was a monument to a ship that foundered off the reef east of Elbow Cay. Salvaging of ships was big business before light houses were built.
